At the foot of Coleman Avenue, Waveland's downtown area, you’ll find the Veteran’s Memorial Monument, honoring all veterans, and the adjacent Garfield Ladner Memorial Pier, frequented by residents and visitors alike for fishing, walking and enjoying a picnic. Between these two sites, you'll find ample parking spaces, and the Waveland Lighthouse and comfort station, as well as a handicap accessible, wheelchair access to the waters edge.
